FR À l’approche de la première de sa nouvelle création, Jill Crovisier nous fait revivre son odyssée chorégraphique, qui l’a menée aux quatre coins du globe.

Un coup de dés jamais n’abolira le hasard… The Game – Grand Finale marque l’apogée de trois années de recherche passionnée, au cours desquelles Jill Crovisier a sondé, par le prisme du mouvement et du son, les différentes manières dont le jeu est perçu et pratiqué à travers les cultures : comment peut-il transcender la simple compétition, créer des espaces de liberté et insuffler de la chaleur humaine dans notre quotidien ?

À titre de prélude à sa création pour huit danseur·euse·s aux Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg les 13 et 14 février, la chorégraphe dévoilera un duo et trois solos, et nous invitera à reconsidérer notre place dans le monde, à découvrir de nouvelles façons du vivre ensemble et, peut-être, à atteindre une compréhension plus profonde du jeu que nous appelons la vie.

EN As the premiere of her new creation approaches, Jill Crovisier lets us relive her choreographic odyssey, which has taken her to all corners of the globe.

A throw of the dice will never abolish chance… The Game – Grand Finale marks the culmination of three years of passionate research, during which Jill Crovisier has explored, through the prism of movement and sound, the multiple ways in which games are perceived and practiced across cultures: how can they transcend mere competition, create spaces of freedom, and breathe warmth into our daily lives?

As a prelude to her creation for eight dancers at the Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg on February 13th and 14th, the choreographer will unveil a duet and three solos, and invite us to reconsider our place in the world, to discover new ways of living together, and, perhaps, to reach a deeper understanding of the game we call life.
