DE Vor der Premiere ihrer neuen Kreation lässt uns Jill Crovisier ihre choreografische Odyssee, die sie rund um den Globus geführt hat, noch einmal Revue passieren.

Ein Würfelwurf tilgt niemals den Zufall … The Game – Grand Finale markiert den krönenden Abschluss einer dreijährigen leidenschaftlichen Recherche, in deren Verlauf Jill Crovisier durch das Prisma von Bewegung und Klang erforscht hat, wie Spiele in verschiedenen Kulturen wahrgenommen und praktiziert werden. Wie können diese über den reinen Wettbewerb hinausgehen, Freiräume schaffen und menschliche Wärme in unseren Alltag bringen?

Als Vorschau auf ihre Kreation für acht Tänzer·innen an den Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg am 13. und 14. Februar wird die Choreografin ein Duett und drei Soli enthüllen und uns einladen, unseren Platz in der Welt zu überdenken, neue Wege des Zusammenlebens zu entdecken und vielleicht zu einem tieferen Verständnis des Spiels, das wir Leben nennen, zu gelangen.

EN As the premiere of her new creation approaches, Jill Crovisier lets us relive her choreographic odyssey, which has taken her to all corners of the globe.

A throw of the dice will never abolish chance… The Game – Grand Finale marks the culmination of three years of passionate research, during which Jill Crovisier has explored, through the prism of movement and sound, the multiple ways in which games are perceived and practiced across cultures: how can they transcend mere competition, create spaces of freedom, and breathe warmth into our daily lives?

As a prelude to her creation for eight dancers at the Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg on February 13th and 14th, the choreographer will unveil a duet and three solos, and invite us to reconsider our place in the world, to discover new ways of living together, and, perhaps, to reach a deeper understanding of the game we call life.
