FR Sous la forme d’un one wo-man show tragi-comique, Joachim Maudet signe un solo intime, un véritable abandon de soi porté par la voix profonde de Dalida.

GIGI ne fait pas uniquement référence à la chanson de l’icône des années 1980 : c’est une figure qui prend corps sur scène, une présence vibrante, faite d’humanité et de désespoir, fragile et toujours sur le fil. Dans ce solo, à mi-chemin entre cabaret et adresse directe au public, la parole est instantanée, enivrante et inaliénable, laissant derrière elle un corps qui s’effrite, se dépouille, se déconstruit et se cherche.

Les vêtements se transforment, s’effeuillent, deviennent jeu, surprise et métamorphose, tandis que le discours s’emballe et que les gestes s’en émancipent. Par ce corps qui s’essouffle et cette voix qui se libère, Joachim Maudet laisse affleurer une part d’intimité, partageant avec les spectateur·rice·s ses doutes, ses élans et sa quête d’un ailleurs. Et heureusement, Dalida est toujours là.

EN In the guise of a tragicomic one-wo*man show, Joachim Maudet presents an intimate solo – an act of exposure and surrender, carried by the deep, unmistakable voice of Dalida.

GIGI is more than a reference to a song by a 1980s pop icon: it becomes a figure that takes shape on stage, a vibrant presence marked by humanity and despair, fragile and constantly on the edge. In this solo, halfway between cabaret and direct address, language unfolds with immediacy – intoxicating, raw and uncompromising –  as a body is left behind to crumble, strip back and deconstruct itself in search of its own truth.

Clothing transforms and is shed, becoming play, surprise and metamorphosis, as speech accelerates and gestures gradually break free from its grip. Through a body running out of breath and a voice breaking free, Joachim Maudet reveals a deeply intimate space, sharing with the audience his doubts, his impulses and his longing for elsewhere. And all along the way, Dalida remains by his side.
