Sie sind nur zu zweit auf der Bühne, aber sie könnten hundert oder tausend sein. Gemeinsam schwingen sie sich empor: wankend, fiebrig, strahlend. Sie sind unbesiegbare oder tragisch verwundbare Heldinnen, die sich vorwärts bewegen, Widerstand leisten, gelegentlich stürzen, und sich dennoch unermüdlich gegen eine allgegenwärtige, aber schwer fassbare Widrigkeit wehren. EN Choreographer and dancer Leïla Ka brings a warrior-like energy to the stage, showcasing the bodies of women in a pursuit of freedom and transcendence.

There are only two of them on stage, but there could be a hundred or a thousand. Together, they surge forward, sometimes unsteady, at times feverish, and at moments, happy. These heroines, alternately invincible and tragically vulnerable, advance and resist. They occasionally stumble, yet they tirelessly strive against an ever-present yet elusive adversity. In a journey marked by triumph and exhaustion, hope and disillusionment, C’est toi qu’on adore emerges as a resounding cry of hope, an embodiment of the most precious thing we possess: the indomitable life force that keeps us upright.
